Question 1

Is the 2026 Gold & Silver IRA Kit really free?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Goldco ships the printed guide, audio guide, and video guide at no cost, including free shipping and handling. There is no credit card required and no purchase obligation. You provide your contact details so Goldco can deliver the kit and follow up with one educational consultation if you want to learn more.

Question 2

What is actually inside the free kit?

Accepted Answer

Three components: a printed Ultimate Guide to Gold & Silver covering how a precious metals IRA works, an audio guide for listening on the go, and a video guide that walks through the rollover process step by step. The kit also explains the IRS rules that allow you to move 401(k) or IRA money into physical metals without a taxable event.

Question 3

Will Goldco call me with high-pressure sales tactics?

Accepted Answer

Goldco is one of the larger Gold IRA companies, so you should expect a follow-up call from a dedicated account specialist after you receive the kit. Their training emphasizes education over hard-sell tactics, and you can decline further contact at any time. If you want a calmer, education-first experience, our full Goldco review covers what to expect on that first call.

Question 4

What is the minimum to actually open a Gold IRA with Goldco?

Accepted Answer

The standard minimum is $25,000 to open a self-directed precious metals IRA with Goldco. This typically comes from rolling over an existing 401(k), 403(b), TSP, or traditional IRA rather than a fresh cash contribution. Annual IRA contribution limits are only $7,000 to $8,000, so most clients fund through a rollover.

Question 5

How long does the kit take to arrive?

Accepted Answer

Most requests ship within one to two business days, with delivery typically arriving in five to seven business days via USPS or UPS. The digital components (audio and video) can usually be accessed online immediately while the printed guide ships.

Question 6

Do I have to invest with Goldco after I get the kit?

Accepted Answer

No. Many people request the kit purely to educate themselves about how Gold IRAs work, then either invest later, choose a different provider, or decide a Gold IRA is not for them. The kit is designed as an education-first resource, not a contract.

Question 7

Is Goldco actually reputable?

Accepted Answer

Goldco was founded in 2006 and has processed over $2 billion in precious metals transactions. They hold an A+ rating from the Better Business Bureau, AAA from the Business Consumer Alliance, and have over 5,000 five-star reviews across Trustpilot, Google, and ConsumerAffairs. They are one of the four companies we recommend in our 2026 Gold IRA rankings.

Question 8

Why do you recommend Goldco?

Accepted Answer

Goldco is our #1 overall pick in our 2026 Gold IRA company rankings. Their strengths are the white-glove rollover process, the up to 10% in free silver on qualifying purchases, and a customer service team that is one of the largest in the industry. The $25,000 minimum is also more accessible than Augusta's $50,000, making Goldco the right fit for more investors.
